how long do heritage Turkey live to be??

Im thinking about getting some turkeys but just as pets. I dont want turkey that only live untill there legs brake or get to week to walk i was some that will live out there life as a pet. Do all turkeys legs get week or brake so they can no longer walk?? does this happen with every breed of turkey?? my choices of turkeys were: blue slates Royal Palm Bourbon Red Rio Grande Wild Turkey Narragansett.........will this happen to any of those breeds?? will someone help me please thanks!

Those varieties are heritage and will do fine. Some members report their turks living 12+ yrs.

It is the Broad Breasted Whites/Bronze that should shied away from (unless you are hungry).
