How long do I leave baby chicks in incubator?

I new to hatching chicks

If there are eggs yet to hatch, I usually leave two chicks in to keep the ones that will hatch later company, and take the others out once they have fluffed up. If they have all hatched, I take them all out and put them in the brooder once they are fluffed up.

Thanks for the advice what do I do if not all the eggs are the same age?

Chicks will be fine without food and water for 24-48 hours, allowing you to wait for more to hatch before opening the incubator and risking shrink wrapping those pipping.
