How long is pasting up a worry?

Hi all! So since losing one of my beloved chicks to pasting up I am wondering how long the others are at risk? This morning my RIR was pasted up but it wasn't blocking her vent...it was below the vent. So I softened it up and plucked it off and she seems fine. But since I lost a baby last week I am very, very worried. I check on them every 15 min during the day (I work from home) so I am extremely cautious at this point.

5 chicks are now 1 week old and one is about 1.5 weeks old. Thank you!!!!

It is usually only about 3 weeks or so.
Probiotics help.
Since giving Gro2Max to new chicks, I haven't had a case of pasted vent.

You can give them a plug of sod from an untreated lawn, and that will give their guts a healthy dose of bacteria and fungi to jump start their digestive system, and it will also help their immune system. The soil/grit that they ingest will help also.
