How long should chicks receive electrolytes in their drinking water?

My chicks are only a few days old but I was wondering how long I am supposed to put the electrolytes in their water? How long does it keep? I made a gallon of it and refresh their water feeder daily. Is this ok?

Normally I have at least 15 chicks in the brooder so I do three days as there are three pack to each set ....... But also I do Probiotic at the same time and day one I add save-a-chick that I always have before each hatch ..........

The electrolytes are mainly just a supplement you definitely need to give them regular water too. If you decide that the electrolytes everyday is the best way to go then you only need to give them it for the fist week.

My chicks get the electrolyte/vitamin water for the first week and then I switch to plain water.

Me too, just the first week as long as everyone is healthy and active.

With chicks and adults I provide vitamins, minerals, and probiotics 2-3 days a week.

I only do it for adults , I read not to give it to chickens until there 6 month old .
