I have a hen who became lethargic, not eating, and had bright green poop. I purchased
Baytril, 10% oral. I found a thread on BYC that suggested .4ml for her 4.4 lb weight, once a day, for 5 days. She got her 5th dose today, with much success! However, she is still not 100%. Although she is eating and she is up and about, she still is not herself. (still walks a little slow, not very chipper, not getting back on the roost yet)
Should I continue the Baytril for a few more days?
What is the longest it can be given without side effects?
She is 9 years old and doesnt lay anymore.
