How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Darlin will be 3 in April. She's still walking around but she's not eating or drinking so I am completely at a loss for what to do for her. She's my favorite because of her personality. I'm hoping she's going to recover but I have my doubts. I feel your pain also.

I keep Flopsy in her crate where it’s warm, she gets out with the gang a couple times a day for a few minutes to stretch her legs then I bring her back inside to her warm crate.

I am leaning towards a Mareks issue with her.

I'm starting to wonder what is going on with Darlin. She keeps I presume it's expelling some yucky stuff but she able to walk and she got up in the box by herself so I am just waiting to see what happens to her.

That’s crop stasis. Did you treat with Canestin? I use an insulin syringe to dose it with. And I use the syringe like a feeding tube of sorts and put it down her gullet by-passing her mouth. Those way I know she has received the full dose.

I didn't know anything about that one. I gave her miconazole cream for her sour crop. I don't know that I would be able to do the needle thing unless it's just the syringe. Please let me know if the miconazole is the same as Canestin, dose and is it administered using a needle. Thank you so much for your help and advice.

I got five today, three in the broody coop, one in the big coop, and one in the quarantine coop. Everyone was all topsy turvy today because I forgot to open the door of the tractor coop this morning.

No needle!!!!!!!

It’s a small 1cc syringe typically used for insulin injections that’s why it’s called an insulin syringe. But you don’t get them with a needle. And they need to be the ones without the ‘luer-lock’ which is part of the tip on the syringe that is made to help hold the needle
Part on. I’ll pM you so we don’t fill this tjread

The Miconazole is similar to canestin, if she is still over flowing liquids from her crop then the crop is still not working. You can try the miconazole again for a week.
