How many Feeders and Waterers do you need in your chicken coop?

I have 10 standard size hens and they have two feeders and two water founts. I have to refill everything once a week, but sometimes I change out the water just to be sure it's fresh. Having multiple food and water options has been great; fewer chores for me and less bickering amongst the girls.

I think that two of each will be better, just to make sure everyone can eat and drink without issues. I never want them empty, so adding more will also prevent anyone from going to roost hungry or thirsty.
I have 41 chickens, including many bantams, and have four feeders and two waterers. When I don't need to heat the water, I have four or five waterers out there. Everything gets topped off daily, but there's always feed and water available.
The eleven pound feeders, and the three gallon waterers work well for me. Not too small, or too heavy.

I have 18 chickens atm and i have one feeder and one waterer and they seem to go through all of it in a day should I get 2 feeders and 2 waterers?

Without knowing your specifics, it would seem obvious that if your feeder and waterer are insufficient to keep your current flock satisfied for 1 day, and that is your goal, either refill more often, get a larger feeder and waterer, or get more of each.

Personally, my one indoor feeder and waterer are large enough to supply food and water for weeks unattended. Less worry and work for me.

I have a PVC feeder that lasts 3 days for seven pullets (10 month old). I hangs in the covered run. But driving rain can get the feeder wet. I did have a day recently where it clogged due to getting very wet. So, a second feeder might make sense. Add that to the to do list.

I have a flock of 19 and use a feeder/waterer in the run and in the coop. Initially, this was to make sure the lowest hens in the pecking order were not getting starved/dehydrated by the others. I still use them in both places because they do come in handy when I leave for 4-5 days to make sure there is backup feed/water available.

Yes, get more or larger containers for your food and water. I use 2 feeders that each hold 25 pounds. Waterer holds 10 gallons. Only need refilled once a week for 12 chickens.
