How Many Roos?

Hey all!
We bought 9 straight run chicks to add variety to our flock. The plan is to keep one roo only because of our hen to roo ratio. Anyways, I’d love some help trying to decide just how many Roos I have. My kiddos are getting attached and I may need to swap some for confirmed pullets to soften the blow.

Chicks in photo order….

Chick one is a barnyard mix. Bearded, featherless legs, 5 toes on each foot. Around 3 weeks old. The comb is suspicious to me, however without knowing breed, I think I’ll wait and see as it’s the family favorite

Chick 2 Black Australorp 4/5 weeks old

Chick 3 Silkie 5 weeks old

Chick 4 Millie Fleur Duccle 6 weeks old

Chick 5 Silkie 5 weeks old

Chick 6 Millie Fleur Duccle, we are certain this is a rooster

Chick 7 Black Australorp 4/5 weeks old

Chick 8 Silkie Mix 5 weeks old

Chick 9 barnyard mix, minimal comb.

Any breed guesses on the barnyard mixes would be helpful, too!!

I feel like we have around 3 or 4 roosters, and I know it’s going to break their little hearts. I love supporting our local farms, but this is the sad part to straight run chicks.

Chicks #1, #2, #6, #7 all look to be cockerels to me.
I'm at good with sexing silkies, but it kinda looks like those, and the others are pullets.

1, 6, 7 are definitely cockerels. Your kids will get over it if it's explained.

I think number #7 has way too much comb at 4.5 weeks to be a female... Personally.
