Depends on where you get them from. Unless they're laying, you'll most likely need a DNA test, which would make them usually at least 25$, but usually they're closer to 35-60 each depending on color, quality and where they're from. I paid 120 for 3 females a year ago, but one was a very young female and the others were still too young to lay, So I was mainly paying for the DNA test and the traits I wanted

Although if they're just for you, not show, you could get sexlinked ones too if anyone was breeding those and they might be a bit less. I usually sell those for 20 since I can tell without a test before they lay and I can save on feed

When I rarely have extra 3 to 5 month old pullets, I sell them between $40 and $60 each. I do live in Hawaii though where prices are higher overall for everything.

DNA sexed pullets are usually around $80 apiece or more because the breeder has to make up for all the male chicks they then don’t sell and had to pay for a DNA test on.

I have seen prices well over $100 apiece for one. There is a breeder in California that sells them for close to $200 apiece!

I was considering offering DNA testing with my birds but it would not be cost-effective and I would end up with a bunch of cockerels that I couldn’t sell, so I sell all my chicks straight run.

I think it would not be unreasonable to pay $30 minimum for a Silkie pullet.
