After serval years of raising and breeding lovebirds, I have decided to finally start selling them in a nearby auction. My main question is how much they usually sell for in auctions? I am planning on selling the yellow collared lovebirds with the blue mutations.

Sorry, may be not enough folks here have lovebirds. I have seen them sell for $30-$50 here where I live, but that was a private sale and not an auction. Hope you can find your answers. 😊

Auction may or may not bring as much as private sales. Wild lovebirds bring around $35-50 each with pet store markup to around $100 each. Hand-raised and sexed should bring $100+ each private sales. A lot depends on the demand and price in your local area. For a related example, @Nabiki can get a higher price for her quail in SF Bay Area than I can in Southern Indiana

Where I live they are normally sold to around 60 dollars, although it depends on what type of lovebird it is. If they are tamed it normally goes a little over a hundred.

Where are you located? I’m looking to buy a lovebird. Most around southern indiana where I’m from are around $100-$150 depending on colors and stuff.
