I need to know if what the normal cost for peachicks are I plan on getting some soon please help

That always depends on what color and pattern of peachicks your looking to buy. To breed all the diffrent genetics into a India Blue Black Shoulder Silver Pied it could take you 8 years of breeding to get black shoulder, pied and two white genes into one bird,so the more genetics in the chick expect to pay more. I noticed on one hatchery website they are selling regular India Blue peachicks this year for over $45.00 per peachick. Going off that price if they was sellling BSSP peachciks they would have them priced around double, considering the added genetics. Of course hatcheries buy from a breeder and mark the price up but still a IB peachick from a breeder is easily worth $30 with the higher cost of feed the past year.

It depends on the area and what the market will bare in your area .
I get 25 dollars a piece for mine at a week or two old no matter what color but there are folks within 100 miles of me that charge more for white and pieds some charge as much as 50 dollars just for those colors .

Best thing is to check you area and see how much others are advertising theirs for and if there isn't anyone then you are going to pay more cause that means they may be harder to find and folks wanting to recoup more money from their seasonal layers are going to do what they got to do to keep things going, peas are not cheap to maintain if you do it the right way, i spend way more money on my peas than i will ever make off them even though days like today i made 600 dollars but i raised them up almost a year to get that.

Where are you located like what state? might be someone here that is close to you here that can tell you about what they cost in the area.

Make sure ya post up some baby pictures when ya get them, they are so cute when they are little.

I'm in Washington and someone near my by a river has peacocks should I ask if they are selling?

Unless you are experienced at incubating, with a good broody hen, chicks are a more sure way of getting a pea. And most likely around the same price. Price, like everyone else has said, depends on location and demand. Here in Michigan you can get a IB chick for $25.or you can pay a lot more, it depends on who you get them from and sometimes to some extent how you present yourself to the breeder. Buying shipped eggs is really iffy, both as to hatchability and as to knowing whether they are what they are represented to be.

What do you mean by present youself and if they have many would that fall in the demand categorie
