I know taking too much fluid from water belly can cause shock and even death, but what about draining cystic right oviduct? Is there a limit to that as well?

Thanks!

You're draining the abdomen, correct?

No one can say how much is too much, often it's best to insert the needle and let her drip.
As suggested in your other thread HERE.

Have you had a scan to tell you she has cystic right oviduct?

Thank you, I did try to let her drip on Tuesday and it didn't work. I was hoping to just try to get it out faster this way now that I found a larger syringe.
I think it is cystic right oviduct because when I took out fluid the last few times it is crystal clear, which some say means it's not water belly, its' CRO.

Could be CRO, hard to know.

I understand your wanting to drain as much as quickly as possible, but this can also be detrimental and send a hen into shock or cardiac arrest.
Yes, you are correct, I don not plan to take out that much at once, just 60 cc's. I am not sure if that is considered a lot. I only did 13 ccs the last few times.
