How old do emus live???

I have a male emu who is just a doll

. I love him so much but he is getting old. I think he is some wher in his 30's. He got sick this winter trying to hatch eggs (which was actually a bucket) and would not eat. I was just wondering how old do they usually get?

In captivity, emu lifespans average 25-35 years, sometimes to 40 years. Much shorter in the wild.
