How to restart collecting eggs now that duck hut is (almost) complete?

Hi, I've almost finished this duck hut, it might take another two weeks for all the finishes (doors, roof ridge, etc.) I haven't been able to collect any eggs at all from my flock of 50 ducks (of which maybe 8 are mature layers). Does this setup look inviting to duck hens to lay their eggs inside? The head Drake always comes to inspect when I'm done working for the day. Will I need to bring them into the hut every evening with dinner and lock them in until 9am? If so. How will i separate them from the turkeys? This hut is not big enough for 50 ducks and 30 turkeys to eat or sleep (I have plans to make a separate turkey roosting structure.) Another idea is to use the scrap material from this project and make a smaller 3*4' hut just for egg laying. Would that work?

Ducks tend to lay eggs wherever they want. I keep them locked in their coop long enough every morning that they have already laid an egg. But, sometimes they drop one in the run.
