Got 4 chicks about a week ago. This one girl is not putting any pressure on her leg. No visible injuries, both bottoms of feet look the similar, doesn’t appear to be bumblefoot. I’m not sure if straddle leg or not? It doesn’t look like it’s growing to the side? I noticed this last night. She has been separated from the group since. I believe 3-4 weeks old? She is an americauna breed. New chicken mom & love this beautiful baby so much! Anyone know what to do?

Has she been growing? Is she much smaller than the others? It is hard to know if she may have an injury or a slipped tendon. Some are born with leg bone deformities that cannot be fixed. Is the hock joint swollen or does it has a sore on it?

I don’t see any swelling. She is actually the bigger or the 2 americauna. She seems to be moving around a bit more on it today… I’m hoping it was just a sprain. We have one that likes to bite the others, so maybe it was the other chic
