Hybrid egg layers

I'm curious what other people's opinions are on California White and Isa Brown (red sex link). How do they compare to each other as far as personality and egg laying?

I have seen and read alot that they both are calm and loving, docile birds. Recently I have been seeing alot of comments saying otherwise. So I'm wondering from people who have had them what personality did yours have?

Also, how similar are their egg laying? Aside from the egg colors is there any difference?

I don't raise either due to short lifespan from excessive laying.

Personality is up to the individual bird. By hybrids have the Achilles heel of being probe to reproductive issues.
