I’m intimidated by my rooster.

Right. Does not work for anyone but me ;)
That is not why I am sharing; Many people I shared with in person reported success, or else I would not out others in a hard spot. I share, to help.

If it does not work for you, you may not have followed the idea correctly. I am very sorry I cannot help in person; If folks cannot do this alone, rehome to someone who can.
But I have much experience with this, many years, and many cases.

P.s Do not treat or reward a roo after he attacked you. You will encourage. Only after you have held him.
My roosters never attacked me lol

I only had one that did.
This rooster normally keeps on going when I open the run but he's hesitating now.I shoo'd him away from my hen only girls last week because he chased them in the coop. They still refuse to mate him after 2 yrs so its coming to a head. I guess I need to separate them from him so me and him don't get into a fight lol.I just need to made a door because they have their own run so he can't go in there

If you are going to separate him from the flock I suggest you do it at night after he has gone to roost. That is the safest way to do it, just pick him up off the roost in the dark rather than try to chase him down and catch him during the day. That way neither one of you gets hurt.

My 2 yr old rooster chases 4 hens from my original flock back in the coop and won't let them out .He hangs out by the door and now he's started roosting right outside the door. He's obsessed with these 4 hens that want nothing to do with him. The only thing I can do is add a door so they have a small run he can't enter or get rid of him.

Mm. Folks, only try to tame if it is not dangerous for you!
Roos are tamable, it is not the roo, it would be you.
If he can get at your face, just rehome.
Plus, I am tired of explaining everything on threads. I can only hope things turns out okay for everyone who does, or does not, take my suggestions correctly.

_twilia ; )

Things have been going better. I started singing. I don’t know many songs, but I do know “amazing grace”. Turns out they like that! I come in singing. I squat down on my haunches and feed them their scraps. At first I kept a see-through tin lid in front of me as protection, but it also wasn’t threatening. Too don’t come at me. He was very aware though. I have kept up the singing and giving treats (leftover veggies and fruit from the house) and he has relaxed. No more attacking. I’m hoping he’ll come over so I can pet him but we are not there yet.
Thanks for your advice. It was also important for me to understand why he was being more aggressive. Mostly it’s because it’s his first ever spring and he’s feeling ruberty. Also, he’s a great protector of his hens and very gentle. I think he was just protecting them from me and my dangerous bucket!!

An important task of the roo's, is defending the flock from suspicious 'threats'. I am glad this helped you guys; Hoping the 'rehab' concept could help others. Music (and food sharing) is the universal language. Mankind found bird songs interesting and pleasant; I can imagine that critters can find our tunes also a point of interest. Good thinking!
My brother was a barn singer... He is pretty good at it too ;-)
