I have a lonely quail now, what do i do?

Sorry if i am using this wrong i am new to this website, so all my quails have died except my one male and he is lonely now. He lives in the garage where he has lots of space but we dont see him a lot other than taking care of food water etc. we are trying to look for more quail but we wont be able to get any for a few weeks at least. I hope he isnt too sad. I want to keep him in my room cause even though he is scared of people at least he wont be all alone, but i dont have a cage that will work so any advice? Please help asap!

What species is it? Coturnix, Bobwhite, Gambels, Valley or Mountain.
Quail are happiest when they have companionship, at least until breeding season, then they pair up and don't seek companionship of other flock birds.
He'll be alright until you find him companionship where he is....why did the rest of covey die?

Hes coturnix. One died of old age, one died of an unknown cause, and one died of sickness/old age
