I'm not having any luck finding a farm or acreage property to move to, where I can take them. This is breaking my heart.
I know BYB is their best chance of finding a true chicken person who will treat them right.
7 Purebred Laying Hens, Hen House + Organic feed + all supplies - everything they need except someone to spoil them!
Hens are 9 months old. Purebreds not barnyard mutts. You can find all my threads and posts on them since day 1.
3 Rhode Island Reds - very smart and capable.
Then there are my 3 VERY people-friendly and talkative: 3 Plymouth Barred Rocks (Henry-etta. Dommie, Fluffy) and 1 Delaware (Karen)
All are FRIENDLY, tame, and HEALTHY. No mites, no worms, no scissored or messed up beaks, No bent or missing toes, No dull or missing feathers. None are pecked at - ZERO defects of any kind.
I've raised them from day 1. NEVER MEDICATED OR VACCINATED.
100% NON GMO FEED SINCE DAY 1 - 100% Soy Free and Corn Free
They Free Range days, and are locked in Fort Chikken at night.
They have 100+lbs of organic feed left, bales of wood shavings, Pine straw. calcium, feeders, etc
Their Quality Built Henhouse is 8ft long x 6ft wide x 6.5 tall
Built with $850 worth of new materials (well, more like $1500 at todays prices
another reason I wish I didn't have to sell)
Metal roofing, treated lumber (4x4, 2x6, 2x4), decking screws and 1/2" Hardware Cloth - screwed into the lumber, not cheaply stapled.
Three nest boxes and three perches. Sealed with Deck stain.
Removable "hurricane" tin included.
Fort Chikken is Extremely secure, there is 18" of hardware cloth skirting all around so predators can't dug under.
ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED
Will also consider any offers from farmers who have room for the chickens, their coop, and a handyman/ with a tiny trailer. I REALLY do not want to sell my chickens but I have to move. This property is being converted to cane field.
