From scratch using an Amish recipe and some tapioca pearls that I had to soak all night... Takes about an hour standing at the stove and stirring but I did it... Turned out really good too!!!!!

Beats the homemade banana pudding recipe(not Amish) hands down I used beginning of the month... The person who wrote that recipe had missed an ingredient or something... It never did thicken and I followed every step to a tee.

I will post it later this evening... But you'll have to buy the pearls(not the boxed at the grocery)from a specialty store, to soak or it won't work right.

Put 1/2 Cup of tapioca pearls in a bowl of 1 1/2 cups of cold water and soak overnight.

Next day mix 4 Cups milk and 3/4 Cups sugar together in a pot and bring to a boil on medium heat. Stir constantly so milk doesn't scorch on the bottom.

Strain the water out of the tapioca pearls and put them in the milk/sugar mix. While constantly stirring again, cook the pearls til they are clear. This will take 20-30 minutes.

Next beat 3 eggs 3/4 Cup of sugar and 3/4 Tsp of vanilla together. Stir into tapioca mixture and bring to a full boil, again stirring constantly. Remove from heat and enjoy hot or cold.
