I was in the yard on Friday making a flower bead I head the egg song coming from the coop! She came out and I told her thank you. 20 minutes later I saw her go back in the coop and she came out singing again. She came half way to me and when I did not move again she went to the nesting box and the third time she came out singing and came half way to me! I realized something was wrong! I went to her! I thought she was egg bound! The egg she laid was bigger than normal but this chicken was compacted and swollen on one side! I gave her olive oil but the second dose she aspirated! She is popping and pooping and gaming her tail! I have not seen her this happy but she is breathing hard! So I started tyland 50! Seems like she is breathing easer tonight than this morning. It’s outdated by a year so my question is how long should I go with treatment and I am giving it to her with a syringe. Is there a better way to give it to her? She means a lot to me!
