Hi all!
I had a hatch in September 2018 and all came out fine except this one little guy. He came out sneezing, has a little puffy face, struggles for air. I didn’t put him down thinking he would get over it. Now, almost 5 months later, he is still sneezy and struggles for air, though not as bad as he was, and about 1/3 the size of his hatch mates. I moved him out of the brooder into his own cage in my bedroom at about two weeks and that made a huge difference. I have used Vet RX and I don’t think it made much difference. All the other chicks are fine. I think he’s allergic to chickens! Lol
Do they make chicken allergy meds? Or something I could give to him to help him breathe easier?

Damaged lungs could make them more susceptible to dust and ammonia smells. Chickens do best where they can get fresh air. Sounds like they are in your house?

oldhenlikesdogs maybe be correct, some issue with his lungs or whatever bedding you have in your brooder? Got a picture of your brooder, possible the ventilation not as free flowing as your bedroom. Since he does better in your house/bedroom, maybe a "house" chicken ;)
