Hello all! So back in the beginning of December we found this little lady wandering around our boarding stables where we keep our horse. We're out in a rural area so it's anyone's guess as to where she came from. She was very thin, I could feel her keelbone and her legs felt like pencils with feathers glued on, and had clearly been attacked by something, and probably would not have survived much longer on her own, given the cold and lack of access to food and unfrozen water, so we brought her home. She is currently, temporarily, a house chicken, with plans to move her into a proper coop with some friends when the weather warms up. Can you help us identify what breed she is? She is very young, I would guess with some certainty that this was her first winter. Please excuse her poopy feet, it is easier to wash them right before lights out when she is feeling sleepy, haha.
