….in the Brevard County area for Production Red pullets and a few “barnyard mix” pullets?

Because there were really no chicks to be found this year, I decided to incubate some of my girl’s eggs. I sold the first batch through word of mouth from my local feed store. I’m just wondering if people are still wanting chicks to regenerate their egg productivity🤷‍♀️

I guess I got pretty lucky with my last batch because I sold all of them for $10 a piece. That asking price was based on what my local feed store suggested because of the shortage. You know supply and demand.
Regardless of the “barnyard mix,“ the majority of my flock are good egg producers. because I cannot purchase any pea bread chicks at this time, I am going to concentrate on my New Hampshire Red rooster with my Rhode Island Red hens and my Brown Leghorn hens. But right now there’s only a few of those and the rest are an assortment. One of my goals for the summer is to build a separate coop for the barnyard mix and my less productive hens with no roosters, strictly for egg production.
My existing coop will house my rooster and my chosen breeds to mix with my New Hampshire Red rooster.

What would you suggest as a price for production?
