Incomplete lacing and spangling

I'm curious about what spangling and lacing look like when they are heterozygous for any of the genes. So for example a spangled bird that is heterozygous db, or a laced bird that is heterozygous melanotic etc.

That will depend greatly on the other breed's genetic makeup. If it's a black bird, you can expect mostly black chicks

Spangling and many other exotic patterns are based on the eb brown e allele, that is because some e allele background just don't express the pattern gene at all. For example eWh Wheaten just don't play nice, Wild type is better than wheaten but not as good as eb brown. ER requires Db and Co to express any pattern and Extended black just don't express any pattern at all
