hi! i randomly found a wild turkey egg on a walking trail in our woods and decided to incubate it with a friends’ brinsea ovation incubator. this is my first time incubating eggs and i can’t tell if the turkey egg is fertile or not. it’s been a little over a week since i’ve started incubating it and i only got the turning setting on the incubator to work after 5 days of incubating it because there was a piece that i put in the wrong place. before i figured out why it wasn’t turning i did turn it a couple times a day. i’ve candled it with a flashlight and it looks clear other than tons of spots on the egg shell. i know turkey eggs take longer to develop and hatch than chicken eggs but i’m not sure whether to decide to continue to incubate the egg or stop? any advice is much appreciated, thank you so much!!

and also thank you everyone so much for being so welcoming and friendly! it made my day!
