So my quail eggs were in one incubator for about 1 day where I had to take them out due to large temperature fluxes in the other incubator. The eggs were on pause less than 24hrs and I kept them at room temp around 20-22 or so degrees. I have now placed them into a working incubator and checked that the temps are stable.

The question is should I count them as day 2 of incubation now that they are back inside the new incubator?

I plan to candle around day 5 or 7 to check the fertility though I understand there may be some delays or loss due to the temperature issues.

They're still on day zero, it takes 24 hours for incubation to start.
they were in the broken incubator for 24 hours. it was day 1 when I noticed the old incubator acting up and stopped it to try to save them before it caused serious damage. temps didn't get above 39 I don't think and the middle of the incubator was only reading around 36.

So it will be early day 1.
