Just today I noticed some milky white looking chicken poo. I saw a rooster take it so I thought it was maybe something else… anyways then I started researching. I looked it up and it said it could be infectious bursal disease, my chickens are unvaccinated and non medicated so it was a possibility. I had those chickens for about 5-6 months now and never noticed anything unusual so I doubt they had it from the hatchery unless it it a slowly progressing disease. I also did not introduce any new flock members recently. The only thing that I did differently today gave them rice and oats boiled but they had that before. What do you guys think it is? I also have a pic if that would help to identify. Hopefully it is not a disease that’s the last thing I need as a beginner but if it is what can I do to help my flock?

There are a lot of scary diseases that come up when you look up symptoms. Gumboro disease or IBD is not very common in backyard chickens in the US. It may be from something they have eaten or having drunk a lot of water. The blue green droppings can sometimes happen with feeding purple cabbage or blueberries. If possible collect some fresh droppings and have your local vet do a fecal float, to look for parasite or worms, but call to make sure they will first. I would skip feeding oats or rice, and stick to a balanced chicken feed.
