Easiest way to explain how to get there is to go to the La Contenta Golf Course, the first right (once you see the greens) is Valley Quail Rd. Go past the batting cages and follow the dirt road to the auction (its a ways... just about the time you think you are lost you'll see it!)
1st and 3rd Sunday of Each Month 1401 Church St. Roseville,CA @ the old Livestock Auction across from Denios Farmers Market Gate opens at 5:30 a.m. Sale starts at 9:00 a.m. Chickens, Roosters, Ducks, Geese, Pigeons, Quail, Rabbit, etc.etc. etc. and and occasional Goat or two. You Bring them and we can sell them for You. ** Next Sale Sunday May 16 ** Parking is free for Unloading from 5:30a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
There is also a poultry and small animal auction every Friday at 11:00 at the livestock auction yard on the north end of Escalon, CA. It is on Lone Tree Rd. just east of Escalon-Bellota Rd. Of course there are chickens there, plus I've seen ducks, button quail, doves, geese, turkeys, peafowl, rabbits, love birds and cockatiels, too! Get there early to look over the animals because you can't get close enough to see them well once the auction starts at 11:00am.
