injured (?) toe on 2 month old pullet

She is limping quite bad for a week now. the foot looks normal (not bumble foot) - clean healthy, normal color skin. But, her outside toe joint (at the big, base joint,) is either dislocated or non-existent. She limps quite badly on it and is not getting better. I don't see any way to splint it. Any suggestions? she avoids walking but is maintaining food and water.

Can you post photos of the foot and toe?

If the toe is broken, then you may not be able to reset it since it's been a week. You could wrapping the foot to help support the toe and make it more comfortable while she heals.

Splinting may be helpful - a lot depends on the injury - you are the one who can best access the situation.
