Injury to vent

My salmon faverolle has an injury to her vent after being mounted a bit aggressively by my cockerel. It's a cut in the corner, a little bit on the inside.

I've cleaned around the area (and separated him, which he's not happy about!), but she's always had quite loose stools so I have no idea how to prevent infection whilst the tear heals. Also, I'm afraid that she'll open the wound every time she lays an egg.

Any recommendations?

Can you post a picture? Can you place her in a wire dog crate with bedding, food and water? I would put some antiseptic cream, such as Savlon, on the vent to keep it moist and clean. The other hens might peck it more if she is not separated. Keeping her near them, but separated would be good.

Update: I went in the morning to take a picture, and it had healed already! She didn't lay an egg yesterday, which probably helped. She laid an egg today, and there was no tearing.

Blimey, chickens heal fast don't they?!
