If there are any weaver's out there in BYC land who are knowledgeable about this loom I would love to have your input.

Today I found the following advert:

This is a Leclerc Nilus which is 4 shaft configuration jack loom. The loom's independent shafts are perfect for weaving any type of fiber from rugs to fine linens. The loom is the 36 inch weaving width version and the Nilus loom includes removable breast and cloth beams to make warping easier. Loom comes complete with accessories and everything pictured. Valued at over $2500
Price: $950

I have no idea if this is a good price or not. One of our local quilting shops gives lessons and I am very interested in learning this art.

Is this a good loom for a beginner?

Any thoughts shared or advice given would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Deb

I do plan to ask at the quilt shop, but trust my BYC friend's (who aren't trying to sell me anything) advice more!
