is apple cider vinegar good for chickens water

When I've done meat birds, I just put a glug or two in a 5 gallon pail. So maybe it was a teaspoon to tablespoon per gallon. I am not convinced it made any difference, but it will not harm them at all. I used ACV with the mother in it.

Yes, it is good for chickens. The amount to use is 1 tablespoon per gallon of water.

Cider vinegar can help maintain the proper pH for the chickens gut. It can help prevent vent gleet and help the flock deal with stress.

I'm sure there are lots of others.
It's an easy thing to do -- and it is good for the chickens. Especially in the heat of summer -- lots of fresh water is an important part of your chickens' health.
