Is it ok to feed chickens once a day

I have 6 5 weeks old chicks. I feed them fermented food in the morning and they free range thru out the day. I leave food in coop overnight. I have noticed the fermented feed they usually finish before going to roost and they don't touch the food overnight. Is it ok to feed just once a day or should i try offering more fermented feed in the afternoon. Or are they getting enough with the free ranging. Should i still be leaving water in the coop overnight?

It appears that they are getting enough free ranging. If they are hungry, they will let you know.

Chickens don't eat at night.
Make sure they have all day access to feed while growing.
