I have been feeding some muscovy in my backyard wild bird seed mix and they love the stuff! However I just bought crumble feed from TSC and they don't eat it. I knw the feed has more vitamins for them but they prefer wild bird seeds. Any thoughts?

Wild bird feed tends to be very high in fat and low in nutrition. Seeds as a main diet staple will make ducks overweight and unhealthy. If the Muscovys are truly hungry, they will eat the crumble. Just make sure the crumble is made for ducks, as ducks require more niacin then chickens. Seed is fine as an occasional treat, but not as a main feed. Good luck

Oh okay, I figured, one of the young adult muscovy finally gave in and started eating it :)
