im a chronic worrier, does the pinking near my ducks nostrils spark cause for concern for anyone? (as you can see she's fine in spirit) but thats not a problem right?

Oops sorry, and white Campbell has orange bills? We don't see them that often on here. That's why I thought Pekin.
I think its between pink and orange on the spectrum, I thought pekins have a deep orange, but my two white campbells is a light orange on the drake and the orange you see there on my duck

Does it look like she has scraped her bill on something like fencing? or is it peeling? how does it feel any different from the rest of the bill?

Could she have scraped it on something? I've never had Pekins but I'll tag a few that do. @ruthhope

I'm not sure if anything is going on with that bill. Particularly as the duck is happy and behaving normally. I would ensure plenty of deep clean water for cleaning the bill and head, and watch from a distance. It will likely clear up on its own.

The bill is the color of our female pekins. Only our drake has deep orange.

I note the duck is a white Campbell. I assumed pekin from the video! I have not had the pleasure of meeting a white campbell!

im hoping its just sore and nothing serious!

yeah im certain she's a white campbell duck, she's 6 months old and shes in great shape, about the same size as my cayuga ducks, always hopping over the chicken wire, extremely friendly and noisy. I wanted a white duck but not a meat bird (because of size and weight gain) so i found a breeder who was selling white campbell ducklings for that reason

I agree. It doesn't look like anything I would be too worried about. You can always spray some vetericyn plus on the beak just in case.

Pekin females beaks change color when they are laying eggs. It will start to pale as they lay eggs. When they take a break from laying eggs color will return their beak. Mine hasn't taken a break and has need supplemental calcium, and that slowly brings the color back. Your pekin looks very healthy.
