I have the Chickcozy Incubator.
I see there are different temperature ranges for Forced air and Still air but I am wondering if my Chickcozy is forced air or still?
I am gathering it is forced air as it looks like at the top under lid is the fan?
I have set my temp now .5 higher than it was. to 101F.
Not sure if this will be a mistake but it seems if my Govee is correct its about a degree out. So Actual temp according to Govee is showing 100F.
Is a temp of 100F or 100.5F most of the time Ok? or is this too high in forced air?
Before I had Chickcozy set at 100.5F so my Govee sitting on one of the empty egg trays was reading around a degree lower so around 95.5F..
I was scared that maybe going lower than 95.5 is bad so put it up.
I have 8 eggs left of 24 - shipped eggs from SA to NSW. I think the first 2 days were too cold as I was only folllowing the Chickcozy ONLLY set at 99.5 so was probably actually 98.5F.
We are day 8 nearly 9 now and I have candled the 8 eggs and i see 8 little moving beings and veins
The egg trays were a little big so I have put tissues under and around them. Would this be dangerous in regards to airing of the egg, I Hope not. I thinking its keeping them a lot more stable with the egg trays move from side to side.
Thank you.
