Is one duck okay if you have chickens?

Hey
We have 4 chickens(9 weeks old) and 3 mallard ducklings (about a week old).
We were hoping to rehome maybe 2 of the ducklings and oly keep one. The duck will be living with the chickens and free ranging with them. Not sure if this would be enough company or if she would prefer another duck friend. (We'll be waiting to rehome until we can sex them)
Anyone keep only one duck with their chickens?

Why would you want only one of anything if you have a choice?? I am sure it will bond with the chickens, but still.......................

We had one duck in with chickens for a few months. Not by choice but the other duckling died. As soon as we got a few more ducks she wanted to be with the ducks. I think it would be happier with another duck.

Thanks for the imput.
I wanted to keep only one for a few reasons; space (didnt want to overcrowd my chickens, or my backyard), and I know ducks can be a little messy.
I think they are all siblings, so I probly shouldnt keep boys and girls together... still not quite sure...

Unless you intend on keeping it as a house pet to be bonded to you, my suggestion would be to keep two of the ducklings.
Make absolute sure you do not have a drake in with your chickens. Drakes are notorious for drowning/scratching/de feathering/mauling prized chickens during the breeding season.
