Do I have a rooster/fertile eggs??
I was fairly certain I did not have any roosters, but when I cracked some eggs, it looks like there is a bullseye. It is kind of in-between all of the example pictures I see online, where it is not super pronounced and some photos say it is fertilized and some say it is not.
I have 7 chickens and they are about 24 weeks old. At least 3 have started laying. I am pretty sure Theresa and Sue were the first two. Light brown eggs, They squat on approach. At least one of the easter eggers (Lisa or Karen) just started as well, but I am not positive which because they are both pretty timid of me, but I think Karen .
Nobody has been crowing, and nobody stands out as an obvious rooster (although I don't have any sort of trained eye other than self research as this is my first flock). Linda, the lavender orpington, acts super dominate towards me with her stance and would definitely bite at me if given the opportunity.
Let me know what you all think! I attached photos of the 7 chickens and the two eggs from today - thanks!
