This is my first time owning chickens. They’re about 6 weeks old and still inside. I noticed this poop and cleaned it up. The pictures aren’t great but it’s sort of foamy on top of regular solid poop. Is it normal? Thank you!

Probably a cecal poop. Those usually stink worse than their regular ones too.

If you don't think so, see if you see more back-to-back of it, indicating diarrhea. If it's that, since they haven't been outside yet, something you fed them maybe didn't agree so well. Probiotics can usually help with diarrhea.

Welcome To BYC:frow

It looks like it's runny cecal poop which can occur about once out of every 8-10 normal poops.

Are you seeing just runny poop all the time or are they pooping a formed poop too?

At 6wks of age, are you still providing heat for them? They should be feathered out and ready to go outside at this age.

Do you have a secure coop/run for them so they can get out and enjoy the sunshine and do chicken things?

What do you feed, including treats?

If you have more photos of your chicks, poop, brooder, etc. that you wish to share, we'll be happy to take a look at them.
