ivermectin and cats

i'm about to worm all our waterfowl and was wondering if i can use the ivermectin on the cats too? i have the 1% cattle and swine injectable that i will be giving orally to the fowl... can i do the same for the cats?

I thought there was something about, Ivermectin and cats being extremely sensitive too it......Careful, I'll need to look into it to remember. I just read the title and alarms went off. I'll try to find some more info.

I know you don't use it on certain types of dogs...

I just googled ivermectin and cats toxic and got a bunch of hits. Also found other sources saying that it was developed partially for cats.
I guess rainplace, you should do lots of research, and be careful.
