I have 6 roosters & I've been told that I can keep them all together in a separate pen from the hens. My concern is, will they still fight each other?
How far away should their coop be from the ladies?

Any advice is appreciated. ❤ I attached a picture of my boy, Leghorn.

Yes, they may fight each other, however, that is dependent on the individual bird. Since they will not be housed with girls, then there is a lower likelihood of issues.

Keeping them out of sight of the females will be a huge help. Keeping them out of earshot is harder, but if that can be done, then even better. You can have success with them penned next to the girl pen, but out of eyesight.

Handsome Leghorn!

Good Luck!

They will fight. Hens do too. However, they shouldn’t fight frequently or too severely. Bachelor flocks have been kept successfully within earshot and within sight of hens, but if you can avoid that, all the better.
