Hello,
I am looking for some advice. I rescued a duck who had bumble foot. Ultimately, he ended up needing surgery to remove the plug. After the surgery the doctor did say that the duck could have some nerve damage due to the plug being wrapped on his tendon. Fast forward, he has recovered but recently he has began not to be able to fully lift his leg when he walks which is causing him to curl the foot under (clubbing his foot) when he tries to walk. So he ambles but is putting pressure on his joints. We tried two rounds of steroids but it didn’t really do much. Looking for any suggestions to help him out - maybe a brace? I don’t want him to hurt his leg further.

@Jjmo1980 , could you take a video of the duck trying to walk, upload it to a video platform such as Youtube, or Vimeo, and copy/paste the link here?

Here he is - so when he goes to walk, it’s like he isn’t lifting his leg enough so then his foot folds over. Once he stands still he flattens it out. Not sure if a brace my help train him to lift it higher?
