Hi, as the Australian Langshan was bred from the other lines of Langshan's to be a fast growing, non-broody, dual purpose chicken that was a prolific layer of large eggs while also being great for meat, some lines have stayed true to this while others have fallen by the wayside. So I am wondering if anybody here has ever done a Aussie Langshan x Croad Langshan either as a meat hybrid or to improve the genetic line or even if anybody has crossed any of the different types of Langshan's for that matter. If you have did you get your desired outcome and what was your outcome ?

While it is not the information that I am chasing I have come across this page: https://croadlangshan.org/html/white.shtml which talks about crossing 'Bradshaw Whites' with UK strains.

The origin page: https://croadlangshan.org/html/origin-china.shtml also mentions a rare buff Langshan.

In contacting them about any knowledge of Aussie x Croad mixes it seems that there is suspicion of it to achieve blue Croad Langshan's but no one can say for sure what breed or breeds were used to create the blues.

I also found an interesting piece about the Aussie Langshan's or should I say the Chinese Langshan's:
