Leaving silkies mama and 2 chicks indoors for 4 days?

Hi all. I have two mamas that just hatched eight eggs. One mama is turning on the other so I have to separate her but I know it stresses her not having her chickies. In a few days I have to leave town for 4 days and 3 nights. I'm contemplating setting up my indoor walk-in shower with puppy pads, pine shavings, food and water and putting aggressive mama in with two 1-week-old chicks. I'm thinking about putting substrate under pine shavings like gypsum to absorb smell from poop. What do y'all think? I'm against the indoor chicken concept but in a pinch I need a third housing setup (I have two coops outdoors - - one nursery with the other mama and her five 2-week old chicks and another for my 8 grown silkies)

Well, in a pinch I guess that sounds good. My only worry would be what are you using for a waterer. Maybe have two of them and strap them to something so they can't tip?

We use nipple bottles so we'd have a couple strapped to the side of the shower with yep, duct tape probably.
