Lethargic hen with diarrhea

Sick hen! Shes been lethargic for a few days with diarrhea. I seperated her and offered food and water. She doesnt move if you walk up to her like the others. And she was walking and fell over. So i know she doesnt feel good. She has water in her area. But i just took her out and now shes drinking a ridiculous amount. Im going to put her down since shes like 4 years old. I just dont know if its somthing i need to treat all my others for. Anything can help!

It's hard to tell exactly what is wrong without doing a necropsy after death. There are a lot of reproductive, intestinal, and internal problems that affect chickens. If you can keep her separated and feed her some chopped egg, tuna, and a bit of yogurt with her regular feed, she might perk up. If you do put her down, your state vet could perform a necropsy. Do a thorough exam on her, checking her crop for impaction or sour crop, examine the vent for egg binding, look for lice and mites, and place her in a crate with paper towel floor, and food and water to see what she is takeing in and putting out.

We put her down. She was just bones. And definitely not feeling good. I figured at her age, it would be best for her. She hasnt laid eggs in a year or so, i am now thinking of maybe worms? The older ones like this one are my moms, and have never been wormed.
