LGDs- Whose got em? How'd you train em?

I'm interested for future use.
Any tips on where to adopt or purchase good LGD lines and how to train them?
Are these dogs also your companions (indoor/outdoor) or does their job relegate them to mostly outdoor life?
What about other animal guards?

Follow.Assuming your talking about a Great Pyrénées.I have a puppy and currently in the works of training him.He can sit,and he will come on his own agenda,their hard as a rock to train so far,but this could simply be because he is a puppy,after all little kids can be quite difficult to teach.
