I have a chicken who has a respiratory infection and refuses to keep down liquid or tablet meds (vomits it out), so I was preparing to give her Liquamycin 200, but noticed a rotten egg (sulfur?) or maybe fishy smell coming from it when some of the liquid came out as I was pushing out some air bubbles. I never really smelled it up close before so I don’t know if it’s normal. It isn’t expired and was stored correctly. Is that sort of smell normal? I need to give her the medication but I don’t want to inject her with something that went bad. Any help would be appreciated.
