this is probably a dumb question so forgive me..
My biggest rooster (2.5 months old) accidentally ran into the electric fence the other day.
He eats well, runs around with the others and seems fine except he’s very ...quiet. The other two Roosters I have same age.. peep and honk up a storm when I feed them.. they’re constantly noisy and into everything.. But this little guy hangs back and won’t hardly even peep. He also has been going off by himself foraging for food instead of staying with the other two. He’s been super watchful lately just sitting or standing around observing
he was also trying to get them back in the run and coop the other night at bedtime By head butting them and pecking them to go in.. it was adorable. I had no idea a rooster could try to lead other roosters lol they finally did listen to the little guy and went in and he came trotting last behind them
he’s just been really quiet lately and seems more mature and like he’s sick of their crap and nonsense lol
I don’t know if the shock did something to his personality? He doesn’t seem hurt physically and I think it mostly gave him a good scare
but could he be traumaitized? Could He have experienced this tramatic event and his personality altered by it?
am I just worrying and overthinking this
Lol
