When I tried to find a breeder of silkies in Wisconsin, it was rough but finally I asked in a poultry group I was in for my state on Facebook and was directed to one I found was an hour from here. I could see her birds ahead of time, and found out she had a website as well. I guess if you get nobody here, try dreaded Facebook as I find discreetly buying/selling my chickens there is mostly what I use it for.
